The last of the three was supported first, Firefox and Safari have supported it for many years. ![]() I am curious why two different browsers would display or treat colors differently it makes no sense for a browser to apply any changes to color on images.įor a long time there was a difference between images that had no colour space, only had a tagged colour space or had the colour space embedded. ![]() Thanks but I already know that and why I asked the question. The other browser is then by definition not reading the colour space of the image correctly (and/or not applying colour management). Compare which browser is displaying the image the same image on the Desktop. Just drag an image from a browser window to the Desktop and open it by double-clicking it (or in your imaging application of choice). One browser is displaying the colours correctly and the other isn't. I can only assume that different browswers treat colors differently. ![]() The colors are warmer on Firefox on my 2017 iMac 5k? Can anyone explain why or how two different browser would have a difference in color temperature?
